EIP is also referred to in legislative proposals as the "Vote Tranparency Protocol" primarily because the term "Election Integrity" has taken on a "right wing" association in some circles, even though the protocol itself has nothing at all to do with politics. Vote Tranparency is also the most functionally descriptive term, so this duality in naming actually works quite well.
